We are in the process of recruiting a Collections Clerk for our manufacturing industry operations based in Modesto, California. This role primarily involves processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and handling customer inquiries. The successful candidate will play a vital role in monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions to ensure smooth operations.


Responsibilities:

• Handle collections and cash application procedures.

• Prepare customized billing documents and pre-lien notices as needed.

• Assist in reconciling accounts to maintain accurate records.

• Support in all facets of credit processing to ensure efficient operations.

• Process new credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Use skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Collections - Commercial, Microsoft Excel, Billing Collection, and Collections to perform tasks efficiently.

• Collaborate with the team to resolve customer inquiries promptly.

• Assist in monitoring customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records to ensure up-to-date information is available.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Collections - Commercial is required

• Demonstrable skills in Billing Collection and Collections

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills

• Positive attitude and professional demeanor

• Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
