Position Overview:
Sunbelt is working with schools that areseeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for the 2024-2025 school year. This part-time position offers flexibility, with direct service hours aligned with school hours (7:45 AM - 3:00 PM).
Job Details:
- Direct Services: 4.75 hours/week
- Consultative Services: 3.25 hours/month
- Location: Salem, MA
Caseload Expectations:
- Student 1: Grid A Consult - 1 session (20 minutes/month)
- Student 2: Grid A Consult - 1 session (10 hours/year)
- Student 3: Grid A Consult - 1 session (15 minutes/month)
- Grid C Direct Services: 2 sessions (30 minutes each) weekly (3 students in Middle School)
Qualifications:
- Licensure as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (All Levels) in Massachusetts
- Bachelors Degree; Masters Degree or Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Special Education with a specialization in visual impairment
Supervision:
The district will provide supervision as needed.
