Job Title: Special Education Teacher Illinois (1099 Contract)

Location: Remote in Illinois

Job Description: As a Special Education Teacher with us, you will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Youll work with students who require specialized instruction, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborate with parents and school staff to ensure each students success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide instruction tailored to each students learning style and needs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Special Education Teaching Certificate required.
  • Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Must be comfortable working as a 1099 contractor.
