Job DescriptionJob Description

Experienced Medical Office Assistants needed for expanding medical facility located in Valhalla, NY for the 11pm to 8am overnight shift. All candidates must be flexible with days, hours including weekend rotations and have prior medical office experience.

Please note this is a 5 day a week position. All candidates must be able to work the schedule above including weekend rotations and must be available for mandations.

  • Patient registration - gathering and updating patient demographics
  • Obtaining Signatures for consent of treatment
  • Answering busy phones
  • Gathering and verifying insurance information
  • Assisting with scheduling appointments
  • Prior medical office support experience in a busy medical environment REQUIRED
  • Insurance verification experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Over-time eligible
  • EMR experience a plus
  • Must be flexible to work some additional shifts and weekends if needed
