Reimbursement Associate (1 Full-time position)

Fast growing and employee friendly company, with an exciting opportunity for a Reimbursement Associate in our Langhorne location.

We are seeking a candidate who wants to work in a friendly and safe office environment.

The main duty of this position is to submit and resolve health insurance claims to multiple payers.

Essential Duties:

  • Prepare documentation
  • Process patient information efficiently
  • Review diagnosis, procedure codes, and charges for accuracy
  • Request and obtain additional patient information and assignment when needed
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility for services
  • Check system for possible overlapping claims
  • Ensure accurate insurance information is recorded
  • Update insurance information in the proper system
  • Process and submit claims timely and appropriately
  • Send all necessary information and documents to payer
  • Follow-up on claims daily
  • Ensure claims are adjudicated within14 business days
  • Work electronic error/reject reports daily
  • Complete weekly explanation of Aged A/R
  • Perform other duties as needed to assist in the functioning of the department

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two years of college or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Two years of recent healthcare accounts receivable responsibility
  • Thorough knowledge of all private insurance rules and regulations as it relates to claims submission.
