We are offering an exciting opportunity in the MUNROE FALLS, Ohio, United States. We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to handle a variety of tasks related to maintaining accurate financial records, processing customer applications and resolving customer inquiries. This role is crucial for ensuring our company's accounts receivable operations run smoothly. This is a permanent position with standard fulltime business hours, Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. In office position.


Responsibilities:


• Accurately process customer credit applications, ensuring all information is up-to-date and valid

• Maintain detailed records of customer credit data, updating as necessary

• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor customer accounts regularly, identifying and addressing any irregularities

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and analyze financial data effectively

• Collaborate with the billing department to manage invoices and expedite the billing process

• Assist in Cash Collections, ensuring all payments are received and processed correctly

• Contribute to the improvement of accounts receivable processes by suggesting new, more efficient methods

• Utilize knowledge and skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) to assist with other financial tasks as needed.


They are ideally looking for a candidate with a strong general accounting background. • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations and management.
• Demonstrable experience in Billing procedures and practices.
• Practical knowledge and experience with Cash Applications.
• Previous experience in Cash Collections in a business setting.
• Advanced understanding and usage of Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume data entry environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other finance team members and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer relationships effectively.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and compliance standards in finance.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make sound decisions.
• Availability to work standard business hours with potential for occasional overtime.
