Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location:Del Mar, CA

Position Overview:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to help clients develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills. You will work with a diverse clientele, including those with physical, developmental, and cognitive challenges, to create personalized treatment plans that support their goals and enhance their functional independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including activities of daily living (ADL) training, fine motor skill development, and cognitive rehabilitation.
  • Monitor and document clients progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate clients and their families on therapeutic exercises, strategies, and adaptive techniques.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and effective care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client assessments, treatments, and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Previous experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting is preferred but not required.
