We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Logistics Clerk in Georgetown, Kentucky. This role is primarily involved in the logistics industry and will be based in a fast-paced workplace environment. The role will involve dispatching, processing logistics, and providing excellent customer service. This opening is for a 2nd shift Mon-Fri 4pm to 12am schedule Apply today to be considered
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring effective and efficient dispatching of goods and services
• Delivering top-notch customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
• Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite for various tasks such as record keeping and communication
• Resolving conflicts that may arise during the dispatch process
• Handling customer inquiries and providing appropriate solutions
• Maintaining accurate records of customer credits and applications
• Monitoring customer accounts and executing appropriate action when necessary
• Contributing to team efforts and functioning as part of a team
• Adapting to a fast-paced work environment and multitasking efficiently
• Using basic computer knowledge for various logistics-related tasks.
• Proficiency in customer service, demonstrating both excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
• Experience in dispatching, with the ability to coordinate and manage the transportation of goods effectively.
• Understanding of logistics, with the ability to plan, implement, and control the efficient flow and storage of goods.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures, and the ability to coordinate the inbound and outbound transportation of goods.
• Knowledge of freight carriers, with the ability to select the most cost-effective and efficient methods of transporting goods.
