Job Description

Join our team as an Operator at our Mesa site, where we manufacture metal inflators for airbags. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth transfer, stocking, and loading/unloading of materials for our production lines. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a leading automotive manufacturer.

Responsibilities
  • Transfer, stock, load, and unload materials for the production lines.
  • Handle various materials such as diffusers, holders, retainers, initiators, o-rings, end caps, sleeves, canisters, filters, tubes, disks, foil seals, springs, support barrels, shorting clips, labels, and generant.
  • Check, correct, or perform rework of inflators as needed.
  • Perform quality procedures and audits, including dimensional checks and visual inspections.
Essential Skills
  • Previous experience in manufacturing.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours per day.
  • Comfortable working with explosives.
  • Tech-savvy, as all equipment is automated.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • General labor experience.
  • Production and manufacturing experience.
  • Machine operating experience.

Work Environment

Enjoy working in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment with automated production equipment making airbag inflators. Please note, no lighters, matches, cigarettes, chewing tobacco, vape pens, or e-cigarettes are allowed on site. Shifts are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts with specific working hours. Must be willing to work 6-7 days per week with rotating schedules, including weekends.

Shifts

1st: 6 AM – 2:30 PM ($17.00/hour)

2nd: 2 PM – 10:30 PM ($18.70/hour)

3rd: 10 PM – 6:30 AM ($19.55/hour)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Queen Creek, Arizona.
