ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide maternity leave coverage in Milan, MI. This full-time role spans from August 20 through Thanksgiving, working across two school buildings with a focus on evaluations.

Position Details:

  • Duration: August 20 - Thanksgiving
  • Grade Levels: 5th - 12th
  • Caseload: Approximately 20-25 evaluations
  • Role Focus: Primarily evaluations
  • Location: Onsite
  • Schedule: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student evaluations, including cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide consultation and support for student behavioral and academic interventions
  • Participate in problem-solving teams to address student needs
  • Complete necessary reports and documentation related to evaluations

Qualifications:

  • Michigan licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a school environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
