About the job

We are currently seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician needed for fast growing mail order pharmacy- no pharmacy or retail experience necessary Must be comfortable with a call center environment and just have the certification.

Job Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of all pharmacy rules and regulations
  • Interprets faxes, e-scripts, verbal, and written prescription orders
  • Inputs all information into EMED
  • Charges credit cards for orders
  • Answers patient phone calls and provides excellent customer service
  • Processes refill requests from patients and doctors’ offices
  • Calls patients about new prescriptions and IVR requests
  • Calls doctors for refill requests
  • Maintains compliance with Company and HIPAA patient confidentiality requirements

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Utah Pharmacy Technician License (open to Pharmacy Technician Trainee)
  • 6+ months of retail and/or fulfillment pharmacy experience preferred but not required (looking for high-volume, hands-on pharmacy/prescription experience)
  • Detail and goal oriented
  • Team player
  • Effective oral and written communication

Work Environment Details:

  • Fast growing holistic pharmacy with large internal team
  • M-F 8:00am- 5:30pm, one Saturday a quarter required 8-12, never on major holidays
  • Training is 8:00am - 4:30pm for first 4-6 weeks
  • Can work into an earlier schedule if preferred
  • Business casual or scrubs
  • 128 people in company, team is 30 people
