Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Smith's Food and Drug. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including preparing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions, including handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Support company health and wellness initiatives, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflict in a reasonable and non-confrontational manner.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
