Caseload: K-12, more specific caseload details in interview. Candidate will be providing behavior consultation and technical assistance as needed, participating in IEP meetings, and coordinating behavioral support services, among other duties.
Position Type: Full-time (37.5hours/week, 7:50-4:00) - through July 27, 2025. School is year-round with a one-month summer break.
Pay Range: $42+/hour, paid weekly

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBA) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors exhibited by students.
  • Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIP) based on the findings from the FBA, employing evidence-based strategies and techniques.
  • Provide training and support to staff members on the effective implementation of behavior intervention plans, ensuring consistent and appropriate interventions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans by systematically collecting and analyzing data on student behavior.
  • Collaborate closely with school personnel, parents, and community agencies to ensure the student's unique needs are met and interventions are consistent across environments.
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering valuable input on the development of goals and objectives related to behavior management.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Possess a Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology
  • Demonstrate previous experience working with students with disabilities and challenging behaviors in a school setting.
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with school personnel, parents, and community agencies.
  • Display a strong knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to special education and behavior management in schools.
