Job Description:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a position in El Cerrito, CA, for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work with students across various grade levels, providing essential support and contributing to their academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Therapy Services: Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy to students, enhancing their functional abilities and academic performance.
- Assessment & Planning: Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs.
- Collaboration: Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy into each students educational experience.
- Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate records of care plans, progress notes, and re-evaluations while tracking student outcomes.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside other OTs and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for all students.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must hold an active California Occupational Therapist (OTR) license.
- Experience: School-based experience is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills are crucial.
- Dedication: A strong commitment to enhancing students' functional skills and overall school experience.
