Your Impact:
- Role: Full-time position in a vibrant school setting.
- Setting: Onsite, delivering essential occupational therapy services to early childhood students.
- Focus: Working with preschool and early elementary students to develop their functional skills and enhance independence.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, standard school day hours.
What You'll Do:
- Assess and Plan: Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Intervene and Support: Implement therapeutic interventions to boost students' motor skills and daily functioning.
- Collaborate: Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide holistic support for each student.
- Monitor and Adjust: Track progress, document outcomes, and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Engage: Deliver engaging therapy sessions in one-on-one or small group settings.
A Day in the Life: Begin your day with a friendly welcome from your team and students. Your mornings may involve conducting assessments or therapy sessions aimed at enhancing early developmental skills. By midday, collaborate with teachers and parents to discuss strategies for student progress. The afternoon will focus on more therapy sessions, planning, and documentation, contributing to the students' success.
What Were Looking For:
- Licensure: Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in California.
- Experience: Experience with early childhood students preferred.
