Job Description

A Machine Tender is responsible for the set-up and troubleshooting through to resolution of the Fabrication Department Roll Forming (Metals) Machines, Punches Units, and Embosser Units.

Hard Skills
  • Reads, understands and interprets blueprints ensuring continuity of roll forming machines
  • Observes the machine operation to detect defects and machine malfunction(s)
  • Responsible for the quality of the profile to the finished product when setting up the line (adjusting, change over, tooling change)
  • Performs minor fixes inclusive of oiling machines, replacing dies, replacing tooling
  • Skilled using measuring tools such as protractors, micrometers, calipers, rulers etc.
Job Type
  • This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).
Work Environment/Shift
  • This is a manufacturing facility, it is not climate controlled so in the winter it's cold and in the summer it is hot.
  • Steel Toed Boots Required
  • Monday - Friday, 3PM- 11PM
