Job Title: Full-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Denver, CO

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Full-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Denver, CO. As an RBT, you will work closely with students, teachers, and behavior analysts to support the implementation of behavior intervention plans. Your role will be instrumental in helping students with special needs develop social, behavioral, and academic skills in a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Behavioral Support: Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Student Engagement: Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to support their behavioral, social, and academic development.
  • Data Collection: Accurately collect and record data on student behavior and progress according to the BIP.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teachers, BCBAs, and other school staff to ensure consistency in behavior support strategies.
  • Crisis Management: Assist in managing challenging behaviors and maintaining a safe learning environment.
  • Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions and professional development to stay current with best practices in behavior analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication, patience, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Team-Oriented: Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or higher is a plus.
