Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. This position involves setting up and running a unique tube bending machine to manufacture bike racks. The role also includes programming at the machine and performing multiple runs and jobs in a job shop environment. Experience with CNC mills, lathes, brake presses, turrets, punches, lasers, or fabrication machines is applicable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a tube bending machine to produce bike racks.
• Program the machine for various runs and jobs.
• Work with mild steel materials.
• Utilize tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
• Operate CNC machines, saws, and press brakes.

Essential Skills

• 1 year of experience running a CNC machine
• Proficient with tape measures, micrometers, and calipers
• Experience in machine operation and fabrication
• Ability to operate saws and press brakes

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with CNC mills, lathes, brake presses, turrets, punches, lasers, or fabrication machines
• Ability to work with mild steel materials

Work Environment

First shift runs from 6am to 3pm, and the second shift operates on a 4-10 schedule from 3pm to 1:30am. Overtime is optional. The shop is clean and organized, with 75 employees, including office staff, and 12 welders in the department when fully staffed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Waunakee, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $50000.00

All OT is voluntary
