Job Title: Inventory/Forklift Operator Job Description Our client is looking for a skilled Inventory/Forklift Operator to join their team. The company manufactures gear boxes for various conveyors, ranging from small grocery store belts to large amusement park systems. This position involves receiving incoming part shipments, verifying parts and quantities received, restocking pulling locations, and handling internal shipments for dispersing inventory to other locations in North America. Forklift operation is required, with usage ranging from 30-70% of the time depending on the area and team. Senior members have the first choice to operate the forklift each day. Responsibilities Print, pull, and package all outbound materials for satellite plants Verify accuracy of materials shipped Print, pull, and package parts orders for shipment to external customers Unload trucks into the flow-through racking Verify stock and enter information into the computer Stock materials in correct locations Pull and deliver raw materials to the machine shop Stock finished goods from the machine shop and motor department Refill and replenish primary locations Essential Skills 1+ year of industrial experience (e.g., warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, shipping, operator) Strong computer skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and RF scanners Why Work Here? The work environment is relaxed and easy-going. Work Environment The role involves working between receiving, shipping, inventory/racking, and machine operation areas. The facility is new and clean, with a brand new automated paint line system. The environment is climate-controlled but can get hot during summer months. The noise level is moderate. Attire includes steel-toe boots and safety glasses, with shorts or pants without holes or tears. The facility is non-smoking. Shift details are as follows: 1st shift: Monday - Friday 6 AM - 2:30 PM with possible overtime until 4:30-5 PM. 2nd shift: Monday - Thursday 2:30 PM - 1 AM with a $2.00 shift differential. Overtime shifts are 2:30 PM - 3 AM. Employees may need to work 4 Saturdays per year, with 1st shift from 5 - 9 AM and 2nd shift from 2:30 - 7:30 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waunakee, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.63 - $21.63 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
