Location: Hondo, TX
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Position Summary:
Are you passionate about helping others improve their communication skills? Were looking for a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team in Hondo, TX. In this role, you'll work closely with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver tailored speech and language services. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students and clients, while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Carry out treatment plans as prescribed by the supervising SLP.
  • Lead individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Assist in monitoring and documenting client progress.
  • Maintain detailed session notes and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to enhance communication outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field.
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Texas.
  • Prior experience working with children/students is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
