We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Systems Manager to join our team in the engineering sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the financial management of the organization, including the development and implementation of financial systems and reporting solutions. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our company's financial strategy and growth.
Responsibilities:
As the Financial Systems Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks, including but not limited to:
1. Overseeing the development, design, and implementation of new financial systems, ensuring they meet the company's needs and objectives.
2. Leading the deployment and management of reporting solutions, such as Oracle and Blackline, to deliver accurate and timely financial information.
3. Supervising the Quality Assurance (QA) process to ensure the reliability and integrity of financial data.
4. Utilizing Oracle PBCS for budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
5. Working closely with other departments to provide financial guidance and support in decision-making processes.
6. Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management, highlighting trends, and making recommendations.
7. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the engineering industry.
2. Proven experience with financial systems and reporting solutions, particularly Oracle, Blackline, and Oracle PBCS.
3. Demonstrable ability to supervise the QA process and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
4. Strong skills in designing, testing, and implementing system and reporting solutions.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
7. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (such as CFA, CPA) would be an added advantage.
