The Shipping and Assembly Specialist will work across three key areas: assembly, product configuration, and shipping. The role involves various tasks such as assembling boxes, configuring products, and managing shipping procedures. The position requires a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble boxes and place iPads into cases, including additional items like stickers or bags.
  • Transfer barcodes from one software to another and ensure correct app installations on devices.
  • Operate a computer to navigate ERP systems, with Salesforce experience being a bonus.
  • Manage shipping processes, including printing shipping sheets, entering customer information into shipping websites, creating labels, and sealing boxes.
  • Handle boxes measuring 8x10 inches and weighing approximately 10 pounds.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all tasks.
Essential Skills
  • Strong computer operation skills.
  • Experience with production and general labor tasks.
  • Ability to navigate ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of work flow, pallet jack operation, and manufacturing settings.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Work Environment

The work environment is small, clean, well-lit, and organized. It has a laid-back and fun atmosphere, with no micromanagement. The first shift hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00
