Job Description

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will primarily operate a sit-down forklift around our large facility. Each candidate will be assigned their own forklift and will be responsible for maintaining it. The role involves loading and unloading semi-trucks, handling large drums, and ensuring smooth operations within the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a sit-down forklift
  • Load and unload semi-trucks
  • Maintain and take care of the assigned forklift.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient case picking using a sit-down forklift.
  • Handle physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs often and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
Essential Skills
  • 2-3 years of solid sit-down forklift experience.
  • Basic knowledge of material handling.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy weights.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • No prior inventory experience needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
