We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our school team. The BCBA will work closely with students, teachers, and support staff to provide individualized behavior support services, focusing on students with special needs. This role is key in developing, implementing, and overseeing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to ensure a positive and successful learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other staff members to provide ongoing support and coaching for behavior strategies in the classroom.
  • Monitor the progress of students on behavior plans and adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Provide training and professional development for school staff on behavior management techniques and evidence-based practices.
  • Work directly with students to implement behavior strategies and promote social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Collect and analyze behavior data, maintaining accurate records in accordance with district policies and legal guidelines.
  • Support the IEP team in developing goals and objectives related to behavior and social-emotional needs.

Qualifications:

  • Current BCBA certification.
  • Masters degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a school setting, working with students with autism and other developmental disabilities, is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based interventions.
