Job Description: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 2PM-10PM

Location: Pleasant Acres Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hull, IA

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Provide basic patient care, including monitoring vital signs and reporting changes to nursing staff. Assist with mobility and transportation, ensuring residents are comfortable and safe. Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including sanitizing equipment and communal areas. Document care provided and maintain accurate patient records as required by facility policies and Iowa regulations. Support residents with recreational activities and social engagement. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure quality care. Participate in training and professional development as required.

Qualifications:

Must be a certified nursing assistant in the state of Iowa. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care. Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed for patient care and transport. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending. Ability to assist residents in and out of bed, chairs, and during mobility. Capable of performing repetitive tasks and physically demanding duties throughout the shift.
