We are seeking a proficient Bookkeeper to join our team in the construction/contractor industry, based in Pompano Beach, Florida. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and providing customer service. Responsibilities:


• Manage and maintain financial records accurately, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

• Utilize QuickBooks Online for efficient record keeping and reporting.

• Oversee customer accounts and take action where necessary to ensure timely payments.

• Utilize CRM systems to manage customer relationships and improve customer service.

• Handle Job Costing processes to track project expenses and ensure profitability.

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing high-quality customer service.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Regularly review financial data and prepare reports.

• Ensure compliance with state and federal tax requirements.

• Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and reporting.

• Proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Demonstrable experience in Job Cost accounting.
• Mastery of Quickbooks Online for financial management.
• Proven ability to maintain accurate financial records.
• Strong knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures.
• Prior experience in the construction or contractor industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Knowledge of relevant legal regulations is a plus.
