Description:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Paraprofessional for a full-time or part-time position in Wellington, KS, for the 2024-2025 school year. This role starts on September 16, 2024, and extends through May 23, 2025. The position involves working with high school students and may include assisting with toileting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support high school students with various needs in the classroom.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting, as required.
  • Help students with academic activities, behavioral support, and daily tasks.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure students needs are met.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications preferred.
  • Experience working with high school students or in a school setting is advantageous.
  • Ability to assist with toileting and personal care as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and a supportive attitude.
