Caseload: 9th - 12th Grade
Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and supportive Paraprofessional to join our team in Wellington, KS. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with high school students in grades 9 through 12. The role is available as a full-time or part-time position, depending on your availability. Some toileting assistance may be required as part of the job responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students in the classroom.
- Assist with educational activities and ensure students' needs are met throughout the school day.
- Support students with personal care tasks, including toileting, as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support students' academic and behavioral goals.
- Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with high school students or in an educational setting is preferred.
- Ability to handle personal care tasks, including toileting, as required.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
