Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packing products, operating machines, and ensuring quality control through visual inspections. This role requires standing for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities
  • Follow work instructions accurately.
  • Operate machinery, including starting and stopping as needed.
  • Use a pallet jack to move products from production to the warehouse.
  • Perform visual inspections of products.
  • Pack products and prepare components for the shift.
  • Wrap skids of finished goods.
  • Supply the production area with necessary materials.
Essential Skills
  • General labor experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Machine operating skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Experience with production, assembly, and packaging.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and mechanical operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Injection molding experience is a plus.
  • Ability to accept training and direction from the shift foreman.
  • Basic math skills to determine material needs based on work orders.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is a plus.
  • Adherence to safety regulations.

Work Environment

You will work in a plastic injection molding facility with a slight plastic smell that is not overwhelming. The facility includes a temperature-controlled area with 22 injection molding machines and a warehouse for raw materials and finished goods. The team consists of shop personnel, supervisors, leads, material handlers, machine operators, assemblers, and warehouse workers. We have 160 employees, including 65 temporary staff. The role involves working on the 3rd shift with openings for Packer/Operators.
