Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are on the hunt for a Bookkeeper to join our team in Carlsbad, California. The Bookkeeper will be in charge of maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our organization, ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Carry out bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Maintain an organized and streamlined accounting system
• Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions
• Prepare documentation for external auditors
• Conduct regular ledger maintenance
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
• Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
• Interact with customers and manage customer inquiries effectively.• Minimum of 2 years experience in a bookkeeper role or similar
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Demonstrated experience in bank reconciliations
• Strong knowledge and understanding of bookkeeping procedures
• Excellent data entry skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience in payroll processing and management
• Familiarity with SAP or similar financial management software
• Proficiency in credit card reconciliation, with a focus on identifying and resolving discrepancies
