We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will use TIG or heliarc techniques to weld thin stainless steel, producing custom, short-run, prototype equipment for the food industry.
Responsibilities- Perform TIG and MIG welding on thin stainless steel.
- Produce custom, short-run, prototype equipment for the food industry.
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
- Use a variety of hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including machine settings for various welding processes.
- Perform intricate welding processes, both hand and machine, to develop complex fabrications to closely prescribed standards.
- Perform fixturing and set-up as required.
- Years of welding experience.
- Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding.
- Strong math skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Welder qualifications per ASME Section IX and/or AWS D1.1 for GTAW, FCAW, and/or GMAW in Horizontal, Vertical, and All Positions.
- Experience with intricate welding processes.
- Experience using a variety of hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Ability to perform fixturing and set-up as required.
