Kirkman Road Veterinary Clinic in Orlando, FL is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our practice. **Under new leadership**
Kirkman Road is seeking the newest member of our medical team. We are a progressive 5 doctor practice in the Metro West area of Orlando Florida. Our ideal candidate is interested in high quality medicine with a well-rounded skill set including, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, (avian and exotic a plus) client education and outstanding customer service. This is a collaborative medical team with a strong focus on DVM to DVM communication and support.
A team player, interested in personal growth and continuing education will become a solid member of this work family, while enjoying all the amenities that Central Florida has to offer. Theme parks, the space coast, beaches, springs and parks within minutes. Orlando's diversity allows for cultural variety including the arts, theater, music, sporting events and amazing weather.

About our Hospital:
- We focus on modern, complete medical and surgical care
- Our practice is 85% dogs and cats and 15% exotics including; birds, reptiles, small rodents and ferrets
- Our equipment includes
o Digital X-Ray Fovea
o Digital dental X-Ray and two complete work stations
o Full Idexx in house laboratory as well as referral lab
o Dedicated surgical suite with electro-cautery and radio-cautery units
o Three isoflurane bases anesthesia machines
o We have specialists come in house for abdominal ultrasound and orthopedics
Our current staff of doctors have a combined experience of over 90 years of practice. This allows for a mentoring environment to grow all our doctors and provide high quality care to our clients.
Skills and Basic Qualifications
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed.
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Works collaboratively with hospital team members.
- Makes decisions confidently and effectively.
- Manages time and tasks appropriately.
- Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
- Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth
