Job DescriptionJob Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Reactive Maintenance Technician responsible for performing a wide range of installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance tasks for production and facility equipment. This position supports safety, predictive, and preventative maintenance processes to ensure operational efficiency and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment (mechanical/electrical systems).

  • Conduct emergency repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during downtime.

  • Perform basic machinist responsibilities, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs.

  • Interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance requirements.

  • Diagnose issues, replace/repair parts, and make necessary adjustments.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities.

  • Handle a variety of tasks, such as plumbing and carpentry.

  • Use hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (3 days on / 3 days off).

  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems

  • Knowledge of air/water pollution control technology is a plus

Physical Demands:
This position requires frequently lifting and moving items between 25-50 lbs, occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing physical labor in extreme temperatures. Frequent standing, walking, and performing tasks requiring close and distance vision.

Work Schedule:

  • 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays (must be open to days or nights).

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly rate, with opportunities for overtime.
