Job DescriptionJob Description Hiring Shop Helper Pay $22/hr Anoka,MNJob Description

Employees will start out in grinding, where they will hold a hand grinder to smooth out rough edges and polish the metal to a nice finish. They will cross train into basic fabrication where they will cut metal to length utilizing a tape measure including brake press, spot welding, buffing, and racking for paint. Help out in other departments as needed (assembly/packaging/paint).

Hard Skills

• Mechanical Aptitude: through previous work experience, school, or hobbies
• Grind: experience with sheet metal and grinding
• Tape Measure: must have measurement skills and understand basic math
• Hand and Power tools: experience working with tools

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Anoka, Minnesota.

Work Environment

• Large manufacturing facility
• Fast paced, can be somewhat physical.
• Work well being self-motivated.
• No temperature control environment, so it can get hot in the summers
• Smoke Free Campus
