Role Overview:
In this position, youll play a crucial role in helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally, providing a range of services from assessments to crisis support.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Student Evaluations: Assess students academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
  • IEP Development: Collaborate with IEP teams to support individualized learning strategies.
  • Counseling Support: Offer individual and group counseling services.
  • Collaboration: Work with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success.
  • Mental Health Promotion: Advocate for mental health and provide training on support strategies.
  • Crisis Response: Participate in crisis management efforts to ensure student safety.

Qualifications:

  • Degree: Masters or Doctorate in School Psychology.
  • Certification: Eligible for School Psychologist certification in Florida.
  • Experience: School-based experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
  • Skills: Strong in student assessment, mental health advocacy, and teamwork.
