Virtual SLP in Virginia Lead the Way in Student Success via Teletherapy

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Obtained from an accredited program, fulfilling Virginia's educational requirements.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP): Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Virginia State Licensure: Must hold a current Virginia licensure or be eligible for licensure to practice as a speech-language pathologist in the state.
  • Virginia Department of Education (DOE) License: Required to work in Virginia schools, this license is specific to educational professionals, including SLPs.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience working as a speech-language pathologist in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, parents, and administrators.
