$20-24hr (Weekly Pay)
Now Hring Structural Mig Welders
Description:
- MIG welders measure, cut, and assemble metal projects using an electric arc and inert gas.
- Select suitable material
- Ensure the work area is safe
- Prepare metal surfaces
- Determine gas ratios
- Inspect weld strength during and after the welding process
*Will be subject to weld test
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- WELD TEST: T-plate with a 10mm multi pass weld, then T-plate with 8mm start and stop to see how the tie-in looks, then a T-plate with a 8mm continues weld, then a 6mm weld around a circle.
- Welding certification or at least a few years experience
- Candidates must have at least two years experience with MIG welding
- Candidates must be flexible with OT during the week/weekends
