Location: Waukegan, Illinois
Position OverviewAre you a passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) looking to make a positive impact on students in Waukegan, Illinois? We are seeking an experienced BCBA to join our team and provide individualized behavioral support to students with autism and other developmental disabilities. In this role, you will develop behavior intervention plans, conduct assessments, and collaborate with teachers and families to support student success. Key Responsibilities- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and design individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide direct support to students, utilizing evidence-based behavior analysis techniques to address behavioral, academic, and social challenges
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to ensure the effective implementation of behavior intervention strategies
- Offer training and support to school staff in behavior management and intervention techniques
- Monitor student progress through data collection and adjust interventions as necessary to ensure success
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing behavioral expertise to the development of student goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all interventions, data collection, and progress reports
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Illinois State Certification to work as a BCBA in schools
- Experience working with students with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred
- Familiarity with Illinois state and federal regulations related to special education and behavior analysis
- Competitive Pay: $40-$50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
