We are seeking a Trailer Mechanic to join our service department. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance on tanker trailers, including brake jobs, oil changes, wheel seals, and wheel bearings. You will also handle general repairs on brakes, wheels, and suspensions. While the primary focus will be on preventative maintenance and light PM work, there will be minimal fabrication tasks, and welding/fabrication as needed. We are willing to teach the welding side to candidates with a strong mechanic aptitude.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on tanker trailers, including brake jobs, oil changes, wheel seals, and wheel bearings.
  • Conduct general repairs on brakes, wheels, and suspensions.
  • Execute minimal fabrication tasks and welding/fabrication as needed.
  • Focus on preventative maintenance and light PM work.
Essential Skills
  • 1+ year of recent tractor trailer experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with van, flatbed, or reefer carrier is highly beneficial.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $34.00
