Job Description

We are currently seeking a trailer mechanic to join our service department. Candidates will be performing preventative maintenance on tanker trailers, including brake jobs, oil changes, wheel seals, and wheel bearings. General repairs on brakes, wheels, and suspensions will also be required. Minimal fabrication is involved, mainly PMs and light PM work, but welding/fabrication may be needed as well. If you have a mechanic experience, we will teach you the welding side of things.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on tanker trailers including brake jobs, oil changes, wheel seals, and wheel bearings.
  • Conduct general repairs on brakes, wheels, and suspensions.
  • Carry out minimal fabrication, primarily PMs and light PM work.
  • Execute welding and fabrication tasks as necessary.
  • Learn and apply welding techniques if you have a mechanic experience.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with trailers, wheels, and brakes.
  • 1+ year of recent tractor trailer experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with van, flatbed, or reefer carriers is highly beneficial.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $34.00
