Description of Responsibilities
No experience necessary, we'll provide and pay for your training
At Aveanna, a DSP's responsibilities include helping in our clients' Everyday Lives by nurturing opportunities and supporting the individuals in their home and community.
Responsibilities
- Implement goals from ISP with consumer 1:1 services including but not limited to in home and community supports, companion services, and respite services.
- Instruct and reinforce target goals and outcomes according to ISP.
- Complete written documentation of services(s) provided upon completion of visit.
- Maintain appropriate professional conduct at all times.
- Assist in the development of consumer ISP and goal revisions as directed by team.
- Provides care in accordance with written instructions from professional staff.
- Reports immediately to supervisor any changes or concerns in the patient’s condition or any problems in assigned tasks.
- Is dependable and on time for assignments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with ID/DD consumers preferred, but not required
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- High school Diploma or GED.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
