Our company is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and motivated Sr Audit Associate to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. The candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and driving our tax planning and preparation processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, where fresh ideas are welcomed and dedication is rewarded.

Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services for our clients.
2. Conduct detailed tax planning and preparation of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
3. Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.
4. Manage and maintain the company's tax database.
5. Coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
6. Ensure compliance with state federal and international tax law through a series of systems and system controls.
7. Research and resolve tax and accounting issues affecting our firm.
8. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients.
9. Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden.
10. Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting with CPA, or working towards obtaining
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in audit at a public accounting firm
3. Strong understanding of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.
4. Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
5. Proficient in tax software and MS Office.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting set deadlines.
9. High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
10. Proven leadership and staff development skills.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
