We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the E-Business/Commerce industry based in New York. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing general accounting, cash flow management, and financial statement preparation for our US operations.


Responsibilities:


• Oversee the Financial Control & Accounting function for the US entity

• Supervise daily financial operations such as cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations

• Lead the monthly close process, including the preparation/review of journal entries, and analysis and review of revenue, expense and balance sheet accounts

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely month-end close

• Work with external accountants to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and implement necessary adjustments

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting

• Support year-end audits and prepare schedules for external auditors

• Work closely with the Strategic Finance team to analyze actuals and implications on future results, identifying any areas for cost savings and process improvements

• Act as a key finance stakeholder and engage with stakeholders in the US region to understand and respond to issues relating to business performance.

• Proficiency in executing Month End Close procedures

• Expertise in preparing and managing Annual Audited Financial Statements

• Proficient in using Workday Financial Management software

• Strong skills in Cash Flow Management

• Must hold a Current CPA License
