Responsibilities:
- Design and execute personalized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Deliver targeted instruction and support to help students reach both their academic and social development goals.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Modify teaching techniques and resources to meet a variety of learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor student progress regularly and refine teaching approaches based on their evolving needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Master's degree preferred
- PEL Licensure with LBS1 Certification in Illinois
- Prior experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
