Contract Length: 3-6 months (with potential for conversion)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Medical Billing Representative to join our team located in Indianapolis, IN and focus on patient account management for a specialty recurring account. This role involves managing multiple treatment cycles for patients while ensuring seamless follow-up on account issues, primarily focusing on denials from Anthem commercial payers. You will work closely with the team to streamline the account management process and resolve issues efficiently.
Required Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in follow-up on accounts and denial management, especially in the healthcare sector.
Strong investigative skills to identify issues and provide solutions.
Proficiency in multitasking, problem-solving, and adapting in a flexible work environment.
Experience with Cerner and other Microsoft systems (Outlook, Excel, Teams) is (Preferred).
Key Responsibilities:
Manage follow-up activities on patient accounts, specifically focusing on denial management.
Investigate account discrepancies and identify the core issues that need to be resolved.
Provide efficient, detailed follow-up to ensure all account concerns are addressed.
Work closely with the team to get familiar with this account and ensure successful handling of denials.
Use Cerner and Microsoft systems (Outlook, Excel, Teams) for daily tasks.
