Electrical Engineer

LHH is ramping up a search for an Electrical Engineer in the Cleveland , OH area. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supervising the manufacturing of electrical equipment and systems. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, strong technical skills, and the ability to innovate and solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components, including circuit boards, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
Perform electrical calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure designs meet technical specifications and performance requirements.
Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for electrical components and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and technicians, to integrate electrical systems into overall product designs.
Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate technical risks associated with electrical designs and implementations.
Support prototype development, testing, and validation of electrical systems and components.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during product development, testing, and manufacturing phases.
Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering technology and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred)
Proven experience (3+ years) in electrical engineering roles, with a focus on design and development.
Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EAGLE, Altium Designer).
Experience with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink) and analysis software.
Strong knowledge of electrical components, circuits, systems, and instrumentation.
Familiarity with electrical standards and regulations (e.g., UL, CE, RoHS).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
