Quality Assurance Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, processes, and standards.
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Mentor and train QA team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Analyze quality metrics and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP).
- Oversee the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in production facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of production lines to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met.
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of ingredients and materials.
- Manage product recalls and investigate quality-related customer complaints.
- Implement and monitor allergen control programs.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure new products meet quality standards.
- Participate in the development and validation of new testing methods.
- Provide QA support during the product development lifecycle.
- Review and approve R&D documentation related to quality assurance.
- Conduct risk assessments for new product formulations and processes.
- MS or BS degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Foods & Nutrition, Food Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CQA) is a plus.
