A venture-backed layer 2 startup is looking for an experienced Community Lead to join their growing team They just announced a round of funding with 30M raise so far, and this is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact role where you’ll play a central role in shaping our community and driving growth Ideally looking for a proven track record in community management and growth strategy, along with experience working with Key Opinion Leaders KOLs.

Job Details
In this role, you’ll lead community growth and engagement across platforms like Discord, Telegram, Twitter, and more. Additionally, you’ll organize community events, lead discussions, and cultivate relationships with partners and supporters. This role is higher level ideally looking for someone deeply embedded in blockchain culture. As a community lead, you will translate needs of users, token holders, developers, and asset issuers into real-world action.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to build vibrant, active platforms (Discord, Telegram, Twitter, etc.).
- Drive community-driven growth by facilitating meaningful discussions and organizing online/offline events.
- Cultivate strong relationships with KOLs, influencers, and advocates to amplify our brand and support product launches.
- Coordinate campaigns leveraging influencer networks to increase visibility and foster advocacy.
- Act as a liaison between the community and internal teams, ensuring feedback is addressed and users feel valued.
- Analyze engagement metrics and campaign outcomes to refine strategies and maximize impact.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and foster connections with new voices in the blockchain and DeFi ecosystems.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a community growth or in community management, influencer marketing, or partnerships
- Demonstrated success in building active, engaged communities within the blockchain or technology sector
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders.
- Experience growing and managing large communities across platforms like Discord, Telegram, Reddit, and social media.
- Strong ability to foster online community engagement and growth through campaigns, events, and interactive content.
- Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies, with a strategic approach to driving growth.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience organizing and representing organizations at industry events.
- Experience using analytics tools with the ability to track performance and translate insights into actionable strategies.

- Expertise in platforms like Twitter, Discord, Telegram, YouTube, and TikTok, with a history of driving engagement.
