Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Remote (Pennsylvania)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48/Hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual assessments to identify students speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct therapy services via teletherapy, utilizing engaging and interactive methods to facilitate learning.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student development and address communication concerns.
  • Provide training and resources to teachers and families to promote effective communication strategies in the classroom and at home.
  • Maintain accurate records of student assessments, progress notes, and IEP documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and virtual education.


Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Pennsylvania SLP licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP preferred).
  • Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology used for virtual learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and families in a virtual environment.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and IEP processes in Pennsylvania.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
