Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Massachusetts, USA (Remote)
Job Type: Part-time, Spring Contract Opportunity - Work From Home
Pay: $45/Hour

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a Virtual School SLP. In this role, you will be responsible for providing remote speech and language services to students enrolled in our virtual school program throughout Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs.
  • Provide virtual therapy sessions to students using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' speech and language goals.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Participate in virtual IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input on students' speech and language goals.
  • Stay informed about current trends and research in the field of speech-language pathology and incorporate best practices into service delivery.
  • Adhere to professional and ethical standards set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state licensing board.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Massachusetts.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  • Previous experience working as an SLP in a school setting, preferably in a virtual or teletherapy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment techniques, and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and other professionals.
  • Proficiency in using virtual therapy platforms and technology to deliver services remotely.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of students effectively.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based speech and language services to students.
